Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam is the largest city and economic capital of Tanzania. Located in a quiet bay off the Indian Ocean coast, the city has developed into an economic importance to become a prosperous center of the entire East African region. It’s a bustling harbor is the main port in Tanzania.
Zanzibar

Arusha
Located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mt. Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, Arusha is the safari capital of the country. Guests embarking on the popular northern safari circuit all stop in the ‘Geneva of Africa’ to prepare for their journeys into the African bush.
Moshi
Nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, Moshi is the coffee producing center of the country. All around the town and on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, there are vast plantations of coffee blanket covering the area.
Mwanza
The city of Mwanza is the major Tanzanian port on Lake Victoria and a major center of economic activities in the region. The lake borders the country’s East African neighbors – Uganda to the North West, and Kenya to the north east.
Dodoma
Located in the heartland of Tanzania, Dodoma is the nation’s official political capital and the seat of government in the country. Comparably, it is much smaller and less developed than the country’s commercial center, Dar es Salaam.
Morogoro
Morogoro lies in the agricultural heartland of Tanzania, and is a center of farming in the southern highlands. Tobacco is grown in the region and consolidated here before going to the market. In addition to its agricultural importance, Morogoro is also the center for missionary work that goes on in the country, and various missions and their schools and hospitals are a central feature of the town.
